This is the show I’m enjoying the most from this season. It’s called Usagi Drop, an incredibly well written show, nice animation style, and just very sweet and calm. The main characters are clearly the kids, even though it seems to revolve around the parents more.
The show highlights the pain in the arse that is bringing up children, and all the work you have to do to get them into a school, feeding them, buying things that help them in school, buying clothes they selfishly grow out of in a few months, teaching them how to be a human being…
Yet it still seems entirely rewarding.
Anyone not moved by this show is clearly not a person, but some kind of android, and should be thrown into lava.
