FYI, anime isnt all like This or This or This or This (though you could be forgiven for thinking it is)

A particular site that I wont link due to filth has made a list of anime that fans think would be good for people unfamiliar to the medium to try out. They’re good, instant classics, and have a near absence of moeblobbery

It is as follows;

1. Usagi Drop   (fucking yes it’s amazing)

2. Ano Hi Mita Hana

4. Natsume’s Book of Friends

6. Clannad

7. Summer Wars

8. Toki o Kakeru Shoujo

9. Durarara!!

10. One Piece

11. The Twelve Kingdoms

12. Gundam Seed

13. Gundam 00

14. Steins;Gate

15. Neon Genesis Evangelion

16. Ranma 1/2

17. Toradora!

18. Hetalia

19. Aria

20. Case Closed

It’s an alright list, but some of them will have to be taken with a pinch of salt. And i’d remove One Piece all together due to shitty. Plus I think Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko has a place on that list. And of course, Ghibli films sould be recomended to any non-weeaboos since they play a lot like Disney films.

Oh. Deathnote, Cowboy Bebop and Hellsing Ultimate are pretty neat too.
